Brought this to our neighborhood block party and three people asked if I'd cater their October birthday parties..

Ingredients
1 bag (26 to 30 ounces) frozen crinkle cut hash browns, slightly thawed
2 cups shredded sharp cheddar cheese
1 package (8 ounces) cream cheese, softened and cubed
1 cup cooked bacon, crumbled
1 can (10.5 ounces) condensed cream of chicken soup
Directions
1. Lightly grease the inside of a 6-quart slow cooker. Add the slightly thawed hash browns, shredded cheddar, cubed cream cheese, crumbled bacon, and condensed cream of chicken soup.
2. Stir everything together until the hash browns are evenly coated and the cream cheese is distributed as well as possible throughout the mixture.
3. Cover and cook on low for 4 to 5 hours or on high for 2 to 3 hours, until the potatoes are tender and the casserole is hot and bubbly around the edges.
4. Stir gently once near the end if you'd like a creamier texture, or leave it as is for more defined layers. Spoon into servings and serve warm.
